Susan B. Field, treasurer of the Gloucester CDC
Ms. Field, after living and working as an artist and teacher in Portsmouth, RI.,
moved to Gloucester in 2000, where she is a practicing
Artist, Musician, and Art Teacher.
She is a Choir member of St. John's Anglican Church.
She has had Solo and Group Art Shows on Cape Ann since 2000
and her work has been shown at the Bodin Art Gallery since 2001.
Between 2001 and 2004, she was Assistant Director of Haiti Projects,
a series of educational and economic development projects
supported in part by the St. John's Church in Gloucester.
Ever since 2004, she has been an America Reads Volunteer.
And since 2001 she has been a member of the Committee to save the "Vincie N.",
a project sponsored by the Gloucester Maritime Heritage Center.
She has received numerous art awards and grants, among them a Fulbright to Japan.
